CPP for Women Update
Some things you may be wondering about the Courage Power Passion for Women seminar on Tuesday, August 26th.
Is there something that tells me more about it? Why yes, yes there is. There’s a small Power Point deck up on Slideshare. You can also download our handy tri-fold brochure if you like. Or you can email me for more information or to arrange a call.
Why are you charging money for a beta test?
We know that sounds a little funky, but in fact the curriculum is locked. This will be the first live presentation of the whole course and its associated materials, hence the “beta” tag. However, this course has been run in its full form twice now and we’re feeling pretty good about it. The registration fee pays for Carmen’s time, lunch, and the costs associated with producing the course materials. When you register for the Early Bird price of $300 you are also helping us ensure that we can afford to allow students in at below cost.
Oh my goodness, how can I get my money to you faster? Easy, tiger. We’ve got plenty of time. Ideally, all the checks would go to Charlotte at our Eugene office, but if some show up in our mailbox at 1515 SW 5th Ave., #1036, Portland OR 97201, you will beat the post to Eugene by at least a half-day. You can also email me and I’ll appear personally to take your check.
That’s it for now. Thanks all.
UPDATE: So I just clicked the link to the slideshare presentation, and it looks great, but for some reason it chopped my notes off (I’ve seen them with notes before, not quite sure what I did wrong). So the notes (for now) are entered as comments on each slide. Also, as I’m sure you’ll notice, the “for Women” in the title has led to some rather interesting suggestions in the “Related Slideshows” box on the right hand side of the page. We could have a whole separate blog post (heck, a separate blog) about how a seminar on being your authentic, courageous self could possibly get conflated with hot pix of awesome chix, but suffice it to say that it is a massive black eye for Slideshare that its user base appears more interested in cheesecake than anything else. None of the slideshows appear to be more graphic than Vogue, so I’m leaving the link to Slideshare up. I’m just pointing out that we’re not unaware of the irony.
