CPP Comes to Portland!
These are heady times for EASCI, as we grow increasingly aware of our (to date subconscious) efforts to not merely consult but to empower, to “operationalize a system of power,” as Randy would put it. It’s a big piece of what we’re thinking about these days - what’s the system? What are the core virtues of such a system? How do we provide clients with those essentials of a whole new way of operating? We haven’t fully formed the system as yet (I personally think there are seven virtues, but I haven’t named them all). But we do know three of them. Courage, Power, Passion. Without these, the modern organization is sunk.
The full Courage Power Passion curriculum is going to be on display in Portland at our new digs on June 17th, 2008. It will be abbreviated - one day versus the standard two. It will also be focused on the unique issues that women face in the workplace. So this is “CPP for Women,” a one-day seminar that will give us a chance to test our content package, receive feedback, and do good work all in one day. Carmen will be teaching, and Spicy Pickle will be providing lunch.
The seminar costs $375, and seating is limited to 25. Come see our new conference room in the 1515 Market Square Building!
