Awesome, Free Authentication Suite for Financial Institutions

Portland-based Vidoop announced a suite of login mechanisms at Finovate ‘08 yesterday that has generated a massively positive response from financial blogs such as The Banktastics. There’s a brief video of Mitchell Savage talking about the system, its implementation, and technical specifics on the Banktastic site.

This is nothing less than I would expect from a Portland company (although they are recently relocated from Okalahoma City, their uniqueness has now been assimilated). It seems like an incredibly powerful service that is (by the way) FREE to most clients if they incorporate the Image Shield authentication methodology.
